Robert Wiedemer: The bigger issue, I think, of where we are heading into the aftershock is confiscation by inflation and that's really the biggest issue of all, because it's the easiest. The government will tend to take an easy route if it can and they're no different than a lot of people. The easiest route to really confiscate tax, or whatever you want to call it, going forward is inflation. Even my father would say when asked, "What are we going to do about the debt?" He'd say, "We'll just inflate it away," but that's no less a tax or confiscation, an actual tax or confiscation. If you have that inflation, that's essential to the government's story is taking the value of the bonds, stocks, real estate you own, essentially offset the massive debt it's occurred. So, it is true confiscation, it is true taxation, it just comes at an easier way for the government to do, but that inflation is...exactly the same thing.
