Consisting of one-ounce .99999 pure gold, this exquisite coin captures a beautiful rendition of Canada’s gentle giant of the forest. A majestically large creature, the elk is a powerful, solitary creature that may be found in nearly every Canadian province and territory. Designed by Claude Thivierge, the reverse side of this remarkable coin masterfully depicts the profile of a moose with an impressive rack of antlers and dense fur in intricate detail.
