Rendered in intricate detail by the Royal Canadian Mint engravers, the reverse side of the coin features the profile of an elk backed by lines representing the elk’s mating call. The exceptional details of this coin emphasize the detail of the elk’s fur and antlers, bringing the intensity of the moment fully to life.
