Rendered in intricate detail by the Royal Canadian Mint engravers, the reverse side of the coin features the profile of a cougar backed by lines representing the cougar’s growl. The exceptional details of this coin emphasize the muzzle spiked with long whiskers, short round ears and dense fur, bringing the intensity of the moment fully to life.
