"I get a load of investment reports, and they all list stocks that I ought to buy. It's a hopeless procedure, as far as I'm concerned. I can't tie up my money in all these stocks. Most pay little or no dividends, and that stops me right there. Furthermore, these are not outstanding values. Sure they are "good" stocks, but when the market is overbought or overvalued or just plain "tired," good stocks can go down along with the bad, particularly if they offer low dividend yields."
