Palladium Price Outlook
“Palladium prices have been in a gradual upward trend since late June. Prices have managed to remain in that uptrend despite the recent turmoil across markets. The palladium market has tightened in recent years and is projected to potentially move into a small deficit for the full year 2026, which should provide an important source of support for prices.
The deficit is expected due to the sharp decline projected in Russian palladium mine supply this year, which should help keep palladium prices supported. While the deficit is supportive of prices, the extent to which the deficit translates into higher prices will depend on the availability of above-ground inventories, recycling supply, and investment demand. The biggest headwind to palladium comes from the auto sector.”
