“Silver prices rose strongly over the course of September, rising from a settlement price of $40.20 on 29 August to $46.64 at the end of September. Prices touched an intraday high of $47.41 on 29 September.
With prices approaching the $50 level there could be another round of selling by some investors. Silver prices had touched an intraday high of $49.82 on 25 April 2011, which is the highest silver price ever recorded. On 9 October this month the active December Comex silver contract reached an intraday high of $49.965.”
