What are the unique characteristics of gold that help to protect the wealth of investors?
Gold is in your pocket, or it's in your bank, or it's in your safe. It's something that is real and it's tangible. Gold and silver, I don't ever want to exclude silver in this thing. Gold and silver have a unique set of properties as financial assets. They are not the liability of any other entity. The value is determined by what's actually a free market on a global basis. They're universally recognized as quasi money and as a financial asset. They are tangible. They have a set of attributes that protect their owners, both in times of big crisis and in times of small turbulence.
